Will Pruitt

 Will Pruitt is an Aquatic Ecologist in Corblu’s Woodstock office.  Mr. Pruitt leads various aquatic surveys for a range of biological and watershed monitoring projects.  Aquatic projects include boat- and backpack-mounted electrofishing surveys, threatened and endangered species surveys for freshwater fishes, mussels, and crayfish, as well as the collection of ichthyoplankton and benthic macroinvertebrates.  Mr. Pruitt’s knowledge in various survey methodologies and taxonomic identification for a range of aquatic organisms stems from his research experience focusing on rare non-game stream fishes, mussels, crayfish, and aquatic salamanders in Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Carolinas.  In addition, Mr. Pruitt is experienced in GIS applications, stream and wetland delineation, Clean Water Act Section 404 permitting, and buffer variances.

 Mr. Pruitt received his Master of Science degree in Fisheries from the University of Georgia and his Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science from the University of Tennessee.
