Job Posting – Senior Mitigation Project Manager
Corblu Ecology Group, LLC is seeking to hire a qualified B.S. or M.S. graduate in the field of Ecology, Natural Resources, or other closely related discipline, with strong capabilities in wetland and stream mitigation banking and ecosystem restoration practices. Preference for applicants with minimum ten (10) years professional and direct experience in the mitigation banking industry. This position is available in Corblu’s Lawrenceville, Georgia office and is a full-time, permanent, senior level opportunity.
Typical job duties will primarily include, but are not limited to, development and management of wetland and stream mitigation banking projects; feasibility assessments and project due diligence; banking instrument drafting/documentation; regulatory agency coordination; ecosystem restoration design and implementation; restoration construction oversight; annual monitoring; development, implementation, and oversight of adaptive management and corrective action plans; coordination and management of financial assurances and long-term management endowments; project budgeting and invoicing; project proforma development; market analysis; and client coordination and management. Travel is expected and candidates should be accustomed to working outdoors under difficult field conditions.
Applicants should have a desire to work in private consulting and possess strong skills in the following areas: 1) verbal and written communications; 2) senior level project management; 3) technical writing; 4) ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Relevant mitigation banking and regulatory experience in the Southeast including GA, AL, FL, SC, NC, and TN is preferred, but not required. Job Posting – Reforestation Specialist
Corblu Ecology Group, LLC is seeking to hire a qualified B.S. or M.S. graduate in the field of Forestry, Natural Resources, or other closely related discipline, with strong capabilities in reforestation and establishment and maintenance of native vegetation communities. Preference for applicants with minimum five (5) years applicable professional, educational, or research orientated experience. This position is available in Corblu’s Lawrenceville, Georgia office and is a full-time, permanent opportunity.
Typical job duties will primarily include, but are not limited to, managing and directing all reforestation and rangeland-related operations in support of ecological restoration projects and land management activities including: developing resource inventories, identification of target restoration vegetation community types; reference vegetation community survey and analysis; tree planting planning, design, specifications, coordination, and oversight; native warm season grasses, meadow, and pollinator plot establishment and management; site preparation and post-planting maintenance; soil fertility analysis and basic soil-plant relationships; seed bank studies; annual vegetation monitoring; and applicable research studies in support and advancement of projects. Travel is expected and candidates should be accustomed to working outdoors under difficult field conditions.

Experience in native vegetation species identification for southeastern community types, prescribed burning and/or fire ecology, and licensed pesticide applicator and/or experience with herbicides is preferred.
